Union Budget 2025 Date and Time: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present a record eighth consecutive budget for the financial year 2025-26 on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
The budget is likely to include measures to boost economic growth and relieve the middle class facing high prices and stagnant wages while maintaining fiscal prudence.
The Budget session of the Parliament will be conducted in two parts: the first part will commence on January 31 and conclude on February 13, 2025, and the second part will begin on March 10 and end on April 4, 2025.
The Budget session commenced today, January 31, with a Presidential address by Droupadi Murmu, in which she stated that the government has one primary goal—to achieve Viksit Bharat—and assured that no one would be left behind in this journey.
Budget 2025: Date And Time
The Budget speech will be presented in the Lok Sabha at 11 am on February 1, where the Finance Minister will detail budgetary allocations and revenue projections for the upcoming financial year. After the speech, the Budget documents will be laid before the Rajya Sabha.
