Sharing the old video of his own act, McIntyre posted on X (formerly Twitter), “‘Can I copy your homework?’ ‘Sure just change it a tiny bit.’” Owens responded to McIntyre by writing, “I’m considering adding a Claymore to my moveset too!”

Owens faced Rhodes in an Undisputed WWE Championship fight at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. For Owens, the clash did not turn out to be a memorable one as he had to concede a defeat at the hands of Rhodes. The American Nightmare did succeed in retaining the championship but the manner in which the clash ended did raise some serious questions about the fairness of the outcome.

The battle came to an end in a thrilling fashion but more than the fight, it was the post-match act that grabbed eyeballs. After the show went off the air, Owens was seen attacking Rhodes and delivering a package piledriver. As a result, Rhodes was left in pain, requiring immediate medical assistance. He had to be stretchered out of the arena.

Later, Owens reacted to his attack on Rhodes by sharing a post on X. Owens stated that he had to do it after being “screwed” out of the title by “incompetent referees.”

Meanwhile, in his most recent outing, McIntyre was up against Sami Zayn at last weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. It marked his first bout since losing to CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood. McIntyre came up with a stunning show to get the better of Zayn. McIntyre pulled off the Claymore to secure a pinfall victory.
