CBS has been slammed by college basketball fans for showing too much of viral McNeese State team manager Amir ‘Aura’ Khan instead of the players who fought to be in March Madness.

Khan has been an internet sensation over the last month, ever since a pregame video from a Southland Conference game saw him walking out to an arena with the Cowboys rapping to ‘Dropped Out’ by Playboy Carti.

Khan’s role as student manager involves wiping up wet spots and collecting towels from the team.

Now, the McNeese student has a pair of NIL deals due to his fame with Buffalo Wild Wings and Insomnia Cookies.

He led McNeese State onto the floor for both March Madness games with a huge Buffalo Wild Wings-themed boombox. The fun is over for Khan though, as Purdue eliminated the Cowboys from the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.

There are a lot of college basketball fans that are happy to see the Cowboys not advance to the Sweet 16.

‘Glad to be done with this,’ one fan said on X.

‘Quit showing this bum. Nobody cares,’ another person stated on social media.

‘About 15 more minutes and we are done with this clown loser! Who cares,’ a third continued.

‘And CBS promotes this bulls***,’ a fourth concluded.

Khan’s few weeks of fame likely will not have a revival as he is a senior at McNeese, and the duties of student manager may go to someone new.

Khan himself is now a bigger star in the college basketball world than any of the Cowboys’ roster.

He does have an infamous head coach in Will Wade, who is rumored to be leaving Lake Charles, Louisiana for North Carolina State.

Khan may have one more March Madness appearance left in him, as he could be part of ‘One Shining Moment’.
