After a long hiatus from television, Chahatt Khanna is gearing up for her highly anticipated return to the small screen. Fans have been eagerly awaiting her comeback since her last appearance on Darr Sabko Lagta Hai in 2015. In the interim, Chahatt has explored web series, and films, and even managed her own clothing business. While she is keeping the details of her upcoming project under wraps, the actress shared her enthusiasm for working on “realistic, content-driven shows” and clarified that she doesn’t resonate with supernatural genres. Despite this, she remains open to returning to TV.
Speaking to Filmibeat, Chahatt said, “It’s been more than 10 years that I haven’t done TV. 12 years, I would say. But I am very much open to doing TV. I am looking for realistic content-driven shows and so I am very much okay to do realistic shows. I cannot relate to something supernatural. So yes, If I get a good script and good story, I would do it even today.”
Revealing how she balances personal life, acting and business, Chahatt Khanna said, “It’s difficult to balance so many careers I agree. But yes, dedicated time to all different aspects, I think it is manageable. I am blessed to have help and going forward as well, I will need the help of my team. One person cannot do everything. You need your arms. You need your people around.”
