Navratri is one of the most auspicious festivals celebrated by Hindus across India. Worshipping Goddess Durga, reciting stotras, and performing rituals during Chaitra Navratri are considered highly beneficial. This year, Chaitra Navratri begins on the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the Chaitra month, which falls on March 30. Navratri will conclude on April 6, coinciding with Ram Navami. According to astrologers, the goddess’s mode of arrival and departure is determined by the day on which Navratri begins and ends.
Reciting The Sacred Text
Navratri is believed to please Goddess Durga and grant Akshaya Phal (eternal rewards). Certain mantras and stotras from Durga Saptashati are extremely powerful, and when chanted correctly during Navratri, they invoke the Goddess’s blessings and fulfil all desires. Some of these mantras and stotras are said to be rare and highly revered, even among the gods.
Remedies To Follow During Navratri
According to religious texts and astrology, the Argala Stotra should be recited after the powerful Devi Kavach of Durga Saptashati during Navratri. It is believed that merely listening to this stotra eliminates all dilemmas and problems. Reciting it during Navratri brings numerous benefits, including victory over enemies, unexpected wealth, wish fulfilment, and even marital bliss. It is said to ensure success in all endeavours, and its effects multiply a hundred thousand times during Navratri. As per religious scriptures, Goddess Durga provides solutions to all challenges faced in human life.
Benefits Of Reciting Argala Stotra
Sharing insights on Argala Stotra, renowned Haridwar-based astrologer Pandit Shridhar Shastri explained on Local18 that its recitation during Navratri yields immense spiritual rewards. According to him, one should make it a practice to recite Argala Stotra daily. During Navratri, Goddess Durga descends to Earth to bless her devotees and fulfil their wishes.
Before beginning the recitation, one should light a lamp using ghee, mustard oil, or sesame oil, meditate on Goddess Durga, and take a pledge to recite the Argala Stotra. While chanting, one should mentally express all their wishes to the Goddess. If performed without errors, the recitation of this powerful stotra pleases Goddess Durga, granting success and removing obstacles.
Divine Protection
Reciting Devi Kavach is said to create a protective shield around the devotee, providing relief from sorrows. Meanwhile, Argala Stotra eliminates obstacles to success and grants Akshaya Phal. Scriptures describe the benefits of Argala Stotra as infallible, making it a vital spiritual practice during Navratri.
