Charu Asopa, who was earlier married to Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen, has started a new chapter in her life. She has recently moved to Bikaner, Rajasthan, with her three-year-old daughter Ziana. Charu shared that living in Mumbai had become too expensive for her. Her monthly expenses were between Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh, which made things difficult. Due to financial pressure, she decided to shift and now runs an online clothing business from her new home base.
Despite her financial situation, Charu recently shared a video showing her newly bought villa. She said that the house is still under construction. She hopes it will be ready before Akshaya Tritiya on April 30. She plans to move into the new villa with her daughter once the work is done.
Charu also opened up about finding peace after leaving behind the fast-paced city life. In her video, she said, “It feels so good to be away from all the worldly chaos. When you step away from all the worldly attachments, it really doesn’t matter what anyone says, thinks, or feels about you. Because deep down, you know you’re in a peaceful space — you are at peace.”
She added that when the mind is calm, the outside noise doesn’t affect you. Charu seemed to be indirectly replying to Rajeev Sen, who had earlier questioned her claims of financial hardship.
She also mentioned that she is working on getting a loan for the villa. “The work of my house has started, and I have to go to the bank because loans etc. have to be sanctioned. A lot of things are lined up and my new life is about to start,” she said.
Charu and Rajeev were often in the news due to their troubled marriage. Now, the actress is focusing on rebuilding her life and finding happiness with her daughter in a quieter, simpler place.
