Chilling audio of Georgia high school massacre witnesses unveils the harrowing 911 calls made during the deadly shooting

Bloodcurdling audio recordings from 911 calls made on the day of the Apalachee High School shooting have been released by Georgia authorities.

The Barrow County 911 call center received an influx of calls starting at about 10.20am regarding the tragic shooting that left two teachers and two student dead, according to Fox News.

The recordings demonstrate the terror unleashed after 14-year-old Colt Gray opened fire on September 4.

The calls were from the horrified parents of the students at Apalachee High School and the surrounding schools, as well as loved ones of the school staff.

One panicked caller said: ‘My daughter calling me crying. Somebody go, ‘boom, boom, boom, boom.’

But the abundance of calls resulted in extended wait times.

One man, who called after reading text messages from his girlfriend, was put on hold for over 10 minutes, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He said: ‘She hears people yelling outside, so I don’t know if that’s officers in the building or that’s — I don’t know.’

Many of the recorded emergency calls cannot be released under Georgia law because they contain ‘the speech or cries of minors,’ according to a letter obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta.

Calls spilled over into the next county’s call center as parents desperately searched for answers.
