Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti highlighted the challenges his team faces amidst injuries and a demanding schedule ahead of their match against Rayo Vallecano, Speaking about Aurelien Tchouameni, Ancelotti expressed gratitude for the midfielder’s adaptability, playing out of position to support the team.

“First of all, I would like to thank him for his commitment and altruism. He plays there without complaining and gives his best. He did very well against Atalanta and Girona, and it’s no coincidence we won those games with him. Considering that it is not his position, but he does it for the team, he is a fundamental pivot, one like few on the market, but we are in an emergency.”

Looking ahead to the match against Rayo Vallecano, Ancelotti acknowledged the difficulty of the fixture. “It will be demanding; Rayo has always been difficult for us. They play well and intensely. But we are confident. The team has recovered well after another day of rest, and we’re going in with enthusiasm.”

When asked about Jude Bellingham’s leadership qualities, Ancelotti praised his commitment and influence.

“His teammates choose him for his attitude and performance. He’s a very important player in this sense.”

On squad rotations, Ancelotti highlighted the challenges of managing a limited squad.

“With 14-15 players, it’s complicated. We have very young players, and it’s not always positive to put them on when the team isn’t doing well. There’s a lot of talk about Endrick not getting minutes, but he’s very young and has to adapt. Putting him in difficult situations could hurt him more than help.”

Regarding the recent win against Atalanta, Ancelotti noted it was a morale booster. “It was an important moment. The team showed commitment, attitude, and collective work. It adds optimism. Wednesday’s game is very important, but for now, we’re focused on tomorrow.”

On injuries, Ancelotti confirmed Kylian Mbappe would miss the game but would travel to Qatar, while Eduardo Camavinga is fit and available. He also praised Vinicius Jr’s form, calling him “the best in the world.”

Finally, Ancelotti addressed criticism over the lack of rotation, dismissing it as unrealistic.

“It doesn’t bother me because it’s not reality,” the Italian said.

With his focus firmly on upcoming challenges, Ancelotti emphasized patience and collective effort to navigate the demanding season.
