Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party “pushing farmers into misery”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday alleged that the Congress party “hates” Ganpati Utsav because it brings people from every society and every class together. The prime minister, while addressing the National PM Vishwakarma program in Maharashtra’s Wardha, said that Congress can do anything for “appeasement” even oppose Ganpati Utsav.

“…Today’s Congress hates even Ganpati Puja. In the freedom struggle, under the leadership of Lokmanya Tilak, Ganpati Utsav became the festival of India’s unity. People from every society, every class come together in Ganesh Utsav. That is why the Congress party hates Ganpati Puja too. When I went to the Ganesh Puja program, the ghost of appeasement of Congress woke up. Congress started opposing Ganpati Puja. Congress is doing anything for appeasement. You have seen that in Karnataka, the Congress government put Ganpati Bappa behind bars. The idol of Ganpati which people were worshipping was imprisoned in a police van. The whole country is angry after seeing this insult of Ganpati. I am surprised that even the allies of Congress are silent on this issue. They are so influenced by the company of Congress that they do not have the courage to protest even against the insult of Ganpati. We have to unite and answer these sins of Congress…” he said.

‘Congress Is Being Run By Tukde Tukde Gang And Urban Naxals’: PM Modi

PM Modi further slammed the Congress party for not fulfilling the promise to wave off loans of Telangana farmers and said, “It is not the same old Congress.”

“…Congress means lies, deception and dishonesty. They had promised to waive off the loans of farmers in Telangana but now the farmers are wandering around to get their loans waived off. Today it is not the same old Congress. The spirit of patriotism has died in today’s Congress. The ghost of hatred has entered today’s Congress. See the language of the Congress people on foreign land, their anti-national agenda, talking about breaking the society, insulting the culture of the country, this is the Congress which is being run by the people of ‘Tukde Tukde Gang’ and ‘Urban Naxals’. Today if there is the most dishonest and most corrupt party in the country, then that party is the Congress Party. If there is any most corrupt family in the country, then it is the royal family of Congress,” the prime minister.

PM Modi also accused the grand old party of “pushing farmers into misery”.

“…For decades in Maharashtra, the Congress and later the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, instead of making cotton the strength of the farmers of Maharashtra, pushed them into misery, did politics in the name of farmers and kept indulging in corruption… When Devendra Fadnavis’s government was formed in 2014, the work of textile park started in Amravati…” he said.
