A country megastar was caught on camera issuing a homophobic slur while at a West Village bar in New York City on Monday.
Zach Bryan, 28 – who went through a messy split with Brianna Chickenfry late last year – got into a heated exchange with other patrons in a video obtained by TMZ.
One of the customers caught the incident on camera with a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses after his pals invited Bryan and his group for a game of pool around midnight.
After playing three rounds and losing, witnesses claimed that the music artist’s demeanor and attitude ‘changed on the drop of a dime.’
The reel later cut to the escalated situation as one of the patrons explained to Zach, ‘I’m not trying to record your a**. I’m trying to record my s**t with my friends, for memories that I want to have, to have fun and you’re just being a d****e.’
‘Like you’re seriously just being a d***,’ the customer added, to which Bryan replied with, ‘That’s the gayest thing I’ve ever heard.’

The patron with the glasses and his own group offered a questioning response as the star began to walk away.
Towards the beginning of the clip, Zach could be seen commenting on the glasses worn by one of the customers, who explained they belonged to his friend.
‘I wanna rip them off your face so bad, ’cause we’re at a bar,’ the singer said while briefly lifting his balled fist into the air.
The video then jumped to Bryan’s perspective as he tried on the glasses and stated, ‘You’re gonna see some terrible things tonight.’
Following the verbal altercation, Zach’s friends soon paid the tab at the bar and then left with the singer, per TMZ.
Other witnesses informed the outlet that Bryan and his pals had asked the group not record them multiple times – but the patrons continued to film.
Around four months earlier, the singer – who is known for hits such as Something In The Orange – was left outraged when a fan tossed an object at him while he was on stage during a concert in Portland.
When an audience member seemingly threw a can at his leg, the star halted his performance and questioned the crowd who had thrown the item.

Before he resumed the concert, Bryan tossed the can back into the audience. The incident took place just one week after he previously had an item thrown at him on stage.
Last year, Zach was also involved in his tumultuous breakup from Barstool Sports podcaster Brianna Chickenfry.
In October, he publicly announced that they had split following 15 months of dating – which had ‘blindsided’ Brianna.
He penned a statement to Instagram which read: ‘Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart.’
‘She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her. I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things.’
Zach further expressed that he ‘thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.’
‘I am not perfect and never will be,’ he continued. ‘Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.’

She later blasted the singer as ‘abusive’ and claimed that he had offered her a $12 million NDA to sign – which she turned down.

On his Instagram stories, he wrote: ‘All you f*****g weird couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you’re assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science.’
