The former Hollyoaks star forwent a necklace and let the outfit speak for itself as she strutted her stuff in towering black platforms ahead of the ceremony.

It comes just days after Tilda pledged her support for war-torn Gaza as she attended a photocall for her new film The Room Next Door at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

She cut an elegant figure in a stunning black satin gown as she posed for snaps to promote her role in the film, which translates from its Spanish title La Habitación De Al Lado.

Tilda exuded glamour in her quirky black gown adorned with black beaded detailing, and a voluminous skirt.

Accessorising her outfit with a matching fan, she completed her outfit with a badge with the words SOS Gaza, as the country remains shattered by its ongoing conflict with Israel.

More than 1.9 million of Gaza’s 2.4 million people have been displaced in the nearly year-long conflict, according to the United Nations.

Israel’s campaign in Gaza has killed more than 41,500 Palestinians and wounded more than 96,000 others, according to the latest figures released on Thursday by the Health Ministry.

The ministry’s count does not differentiate between civilians and combatants, but more than half the dead have been women and children, including about 1,300 children under the age of two.

Israel launched its campaign in Gaza, vowing to destroy Hamas after its attack on October 7, during which militants killed around 1,200 people and took about 250 others hostage.

It blames civilian deaths in Gaza on Hamas, because the group’s fighters operate in residential areas and use civilian infrastructure.

The Room Next Door, distributed by Warner Bros, is scheduled to hit UK theatres from October 25.

Tilda leads as Martha alongside Julianne Moore as Ingrid – who was not in attendance of the event  – but earlier made a stylish appearance at Milan Fashion Week.

This is actually the filmmaker’s second Golden Lion Award, which follows the honorary one he received in 2019.

The two-time Academy Award winner thanked both Tilda and Julianne during his largely Spanish-language acceptance speech.
