Dave Hughes has exploded after he didn’t get an invite to the 2024 Logies.
The 53-year-old comedian appeared on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick on Tuesday when he called this year’s celebrity attendees a bunch of ‘losers’.
Hughesy then launched into a tirade at his invitation snub, exclaiming he hosted the event four times and had now been overlooked.
He officially hosted the Logie Awards in 2007 with Fifi Box and gave the opening monologue at the Logies from 2016 to 2019.
‘I’ve enjoyed doing the Logies in the past… and look, I wasn’t invited on Sunday night. So, I was just at home,’ he said.
The comedian then began yelling about not getting an invite.
‘I hosted it four times in a row and no invite. No invite! Not even an invite! The amount of losers in that room…’ the comedic rant continued.
‘I presented for twenty years in a row and didn’t even get an invite!’

Host Brendan Fevola then tried to reason with Dave.
‘You’ve got no shows on TV though, why would you get invited?’
But Hughesy had a response to this, saying that while he may not host a show, he is ubiquitous on television.

‘Mate, I pop up on things. I. POP. UP. ON. THINGS. I’m a pop up guy!’
Hughesy isn’t the only Australian celebrity who didn’t make it to this year’s Logies.
Today show reporter Karl Stefanovic did not attend as he was celebrating his 50th birthday out of Sydney, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Channel Seven star David Koch, whose contract with the network is believed to be coming to an end, and Mark Ferguson, who is believed to be stepping away from the news desk, also skipped the event.
Lisa Wilkinson did not make an appearance following her controversial 2022 Logies speech where she mentioned alleged rape victim Brittany Higgins.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Australian Idol’s Ricki Lee-Coulter and Sylvia Jeffreys also gave the Logie Awards ceremony a miss.
