Dave Portnoy rips into Al Green after he was kicked out for disrupting Donald Trump’s address to congress

Dave Portnoy put his recent criticism of Donald Trump aside on Tuesday night to slam the Democratic representative who interrupted the President’s address to congress.

Al Green of Texas was tossed from the event for breaking decorum and shouting at Trump while waving his cane in the direction of the podium.

‘Members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the house and to cease any further disruptions. That’s your warning,’ House Speaker Mike Johnson said while banging his gavel. ‘Members are engaging in willful and continuing breach of decorum, and the chair is prepared to direct the sergeant at arms to restore order to the joint session.’

When Green refused, Johnson told the seargent at arms to ‘remove this gentleman from the chamber.’

While Green ultimately left without much more of a fuss, the Barstool Sports founder and Trump supporter described the scene on Capitol Hill as a ‘s*** show.’

‘I got no clue who this dude was but he just got booted for being disrespectful prick and the crowd chanted Na na na na…goodbye!’ Portnoy wrote on X.

Portnoy has recently questioned Trump on everything from his failure to release a full report on deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to the President’s decision to return accused sex traffickers Andrew Tate and brother Tristan from Romania back to the United States.

The Tate brothers were allowed to leave Romania last week week following an alleged intervention by Trump’s administration. However, the President said Thursday he didn’t know anything about their release.

The brothers, who are joint US and UK nationals but lived near Bucharest, were arrested in 2022 on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, money laundering and forming an organized crime group. They have denied any wrongdoing.

They also face charges including accusations of rape and human trafficking in the UK, and a court in Bucharest has ruled that they can be extradited to Britain once a final decision is reached in their case in Romania.

According to the brothers’ lawyer, the ‘primary’ reason they feel safe to return to the United States is that ‘Donald Trump is the president’.

Portnoy’s comments mark the first time he has seemingly felt unhappy with Trump since coming out in support of him at last year’s election.

He has also recently offered more support for Trump, as he did on Friday after the President’s explosive meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky.

‘It was the most surreal thing I’ve ever seen in politics,’ Portnoy began in a seven-minute-long rant posted to X.

‘It felt like I was watching Bravo TV. Just fascinating to see world leaders arguing with each other with the fate of the world and World War III in the balance.’

Friday’s press conference between Trump and Zelensky deteriorated into a blistering shouting match that resulted in the US Commander-in-Chief kicking his Ukrainian counterpart out of the White House.

The tense war of words that played out inside the Oval Office Friday quickly went off the rails when Trump took offense of how Zelensky treated his vice president JD Vance, who accused the Ukrainian of being ungrateful, in front of the cameras.

Self-proclaimed ‘Davey Politics’ went on to admit that he could see both sides of the feud. He first sympathized with the devastation that has been inflicted upon Ukraine at the hands of Russia over the past three years, yet questioned the extent of the United States’ involvement.
