A dead baby was found in the bathroom of a Manhattan restaurant on Monday.
The newborn’s body was found inside the restaurant Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in the city’s financial district.
Police responded to the scene following a 911 call just before 10am EST, as reported by the Daily News.
The restaurant was not scheduled to open until 10.30am.
Police are looking into whether someone left the baby inside on Sunday or this morning.
