Deepika Padukone wore not one but two elegant House of Masaba ensembles for the Waves 2025 summit in Mumbai.

Deepika Padukone who was part of the Waves Summit 2025: The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler discussion along with actor Shah Rukh Khan and moderated by filmmaker Karan Johar, looked resplendent as she walked on stage in a House of Masaba black ensemble with opulent gold embroidery detailing.
Apart from her charming elegance, Deepika shared a fun camaraderie on stage with her first co-star Shah Rukh Khan, who she made her debut with in Om Shanti Om.
An epitome of grace and elegance, Deepika Padukone’s all black House of Masaba ensemble featured a black kurta set accentuated with elaborate motifs featuring elaborate coconut trees and a boat strategically placed on the kurta. The embroidery did look straight out of a scenic view from Kerala’s backwaters featuring a houseboat surrounded by coconut trees.
The gold intricate embroidery detailing of the motifs added a sparkle to the monochrome palette of the kurta set. The dupatta was further enhanced with a bold embroidered border with tiny paan phool motifs.
Exuding grace and glamour in the ethnic wear, Deepika not only celebrated the Indian silhouette but also embraced Indian craftsmanship in his iconic Masaba creation.
For the inauguration of Waves 2025 which was done in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deepika Padukone attended the ceremony in a House of Masaba handwoven cotton set paired with an elegant organza dupatta. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, the kurta featured House of Masaba’s signature Paan Phool and Son Vriksha motif in delicate hand embroidery. Deepika completed her desi look with diamond studded dangling earrings that added a hint of sparkle to her style look.
Ahead of Waves 2025, Deepika Padukone took to Instagram to share what she was wearing to the summit. She captioned her poster as: En route @wavesummitindia Let’s do this!
Day 1 of The Waves 2025 summit was attended by an array of celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Rashi Khanna, Rajnikanth, Aamir Khan, Chiranjeevi, Nimrat Kaur, Hema Malini, Saif Ali Khan, Nushratt Bharuccha, Guneet Monga, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Taha Shah Badussha, and Kusha Kapila among others.
