Dipika Kakar’s love language is dedicating songs to her husband Shoaib Ibrahim. She makes it a point to express her emotions through romantic numbers. Having said that, the television actress dropped a post on Instagram stories, featuring a glimpse of the song that she was listening to while in her car. Titled Latthay Di Chaadar, the said song is from Coke Studio Season 10. It is sung by Quratulain Balouch & Farhan Saeed.
Along with the post, Dipika Kakar also added a short note, revealing her special connection with the song. She wrote, “This song will always have a special place in my heart!!” Dipika also tagged her husband in the post, implying the duo shares a romantic memory with the song.
In 2020, Dipika Kakar dedicated a song to Shoaib Ibrahim, expressing her feelings for him to redefine the pure meaning of love. She picked Alia Bhatt’s version of the song, Samjhawan from the movie, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, implying that it perfectly encapsulates her emotions. The lines she dedicated were, “Muskurana bhi tujhi se seekha hai, dil lagane ka tu hi tarika hai, aitbaar bhi tujhi pe hota hai, aau na hosh mein main kabhi, baahon mein hai teri zindagi.” Along with the post, she added a note that read, “This is for u forever n ever” and “Im blessed.”
Dipika Kakar is currently a participant in Celebrity MasterChef. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, who has been a pillar of support for his ladylove throughout her journey, expressed his pride in watching her in the show. In a chat during his appearance on the show, he said that Dipika is pursuing something she has always been passionate about—cooking.
Talking about her participation, he reportedly said, “I have seen her journey—from the time I met her, became friends with her, got into a relationship, and eventually married her. Throughout all these phases, one thing has remained constant: her passion for cooking. She absolutely loves it. Cooking is not just something she does; she truly enjoys it, and above all, she loves feeding people.”
Dipika Kakar has been doing exceptionally well in the cooking-based show. She is competing against the popular faces of television including Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam and Faisal Shaikh among others.
