Distraught couple lead Rottweilers away after they killed girl, 5, at family’s stunning $2m California mansion

A distraught couple was seen leading their Rottweilers away after they mauled a little girl to death in their $2million California mansion.

The girl, who has not yet been identified, was attacked by the family’s dogs in their home in a gated community in Covina, near Los Angeles, on Sunday.

She was pronounce dead at the hospital after the brutal attack in the backyard.

Police said a 10-year-old Rottweiler and a six-year-old Rottweiler mix are to blame for the attack.

One other family member reportedly suffered minor incidents. 

Harrowing footage from the scene showed the couple leading the dogs out of the home as officials took them away.

They are then seen comforting each other after police take the pets from the home.

Officials said the girl has lived in the home with the dogs her entire life and there were no prior incidents. 

Police have opened a probe into the fatal incident. 

The mansion where the attack took place has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a sizable backyard swimming pool with hot tub annex. 

Its landscaped gardens enjoy beautiful views over rolling hills and valleys.
