United States Presidential Inauguration LIVE: Donald Trump is set to return to the White House as the 47th US President, with a grand inauguration ceremony on Monday (January 20) inside the Capitol premises.
Trump won a historic election in November last year, defeating his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, in what was expected to be a close contest, by a comfortable margin. His return as the US President is a significant moment in American history as he will become the only second president to come back to power non-consecutively.
The ceremony will take place inside the US Capitol for the first time in 40 years due to a severe cold. The inauguration event has traditionally been held outside the Capitol.
