Drashti Dhami, who welcomed her first child with husband Niraj Khemka, has been sharing adorable moments of her new journey as a mother. The couple, who became parents to a baby girl on October 22, 2024, have been giving fans a peek into their life with the little one. From celebrating New Year’s with her baby to marking her first birthday as a mom, Drashti has been documenting every precious moment. In her latest hilarious reel, she jokingly expressed that she’d rather snack on her baby’s soft feet than her lunch, leaving fans in splits.

Rather than sticking to her lunch, she humorously substitutes it by holding her daughter’s feet between the bread and pretending to eat them. In her caption, she wrote, “Today’s Lunch.” Fans couldn’t stop laughing at the adorable clip. One follower joked, “Woman, just go in for the real deal, no bread or condiments!! Even better than the feet, or those yummy cheeks!!” while another quipped, “Forgot to add some ketchup.”
Recently, the actress released a transition video documenting her months-long pregnancy journey. She stated that it is still difficult to believe she gave birth to her baby and is grateful for the same. The actress posted an amazing transition video of her 9-month journey with her kid on Instagram. Drashti appears in the video wearing a body-fitting blue dress with a deeper tone design. In the caption, she wrote, “Still can’t believe I have grown a human out of me. What a beautiful journey, and I will cherish it forever. Grateful.”
Drashti Dhami and Niraj Khemka got married on February 21, 2015, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. The couple announced their pregnancy in June 2024 and have named their daughter Leela.
On the work front, Drashti’s most recent role was in Duranga, a thriller series based on the Korean drama Flower of Evil. Goldie Behl created the series, which features Gulshan Devaiah and Amit Sadh in important roles and premiered on the OTT channel Zee5. The actress has appeared in episodes such as Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil.
