American actor Drew Starkey walked the red carpet of the ongoing Venice Film Festival to promote his homoerotic romance drama Queer alongside the James Bond actor Daniel Craig. Directed by Luca Guadangino, the film will revolve around the life of an American expat, William Lee (Craig), who leads a solitary life until he gets infatuated with Eugene Allerton (Starkey).
Drew and Daniel appeared together for a photocall for their film Queer and took everyone’s breath away with their dapper looks, twinning in crisp white shirts. While Drew paired his plain shirt with flared, pleated brown trousers and black shoes, the James Bond actor preferred a classic combination of a white shirt with denim jeans and white sneakers.
On the red carpet of his film’s premiere, Drew turned heads in a Loewe navy blue suit featuring a black lapel. He paired it with a white shirt and polished black shoes. However, it was his short mullet hairstyle that made the internet go gaga over his look. The 30-year-old actor looked dapper in his latest appearance, leading the internet to call him their newest boyfriend.
On a post shared by the brand Loewe featuring the Queer co-stars Daniel and Drew, social media users tagged the latter as the “prettiest man” ever. Meanwhile, others were just swooning over his hot look on the red carpet. On the other hand, Daniel graced the red carpet alongside his wife, Rachel Weisz, in an all-white look comprising a shirt underneath a suit.
In another appearance at the Venice Film Festival, Drew sported a casual look in a Cuban-collared check shirt paired with a white vest and denim jeans. He accessorised his look with uber-cool sunglasses and looked handsome as ever.
Drew Starkey rose to popularity with his role in Netflix’s adventure series Outer Banks. Prior to his, the 30-year-old has played supporting roles in Love Simon and The Hate U Give. Luca Guadagnino’s Queer is his first role major role opposite an actor of prominence like that of Daniel Craig. The duo has filmed some intense intimate scenes in the film.
