Philadelphia Eagles fans haven’t wasted any time poking fun at Patrick Mahomes ahead of their Super Bowl party on Friday.
Hours before the team celebrates Sunday’s triumph on a bus parade through the city, Eagles supporters brutally taunted Mahomes by bringing out a hog roast made to resemble the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
The cooked pig could be seen with his No. 15 jersey number carved into its side, while a wig resembling his curly haircut was also placed on its head.
Mahomes suffered a nightmare at Super Bowl LIX, throwing two costly interceptions – including a pick six – and taking six sacks as Philadelphia ran out comfortable 40-22 winners in New Orleans.
It proved a night to forget for the Chiefs superstar, who came off second best to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts enjoyed the finest night of his career at Caesars Superdome, recording two touchdowns for 221 yards while rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown.

After clinching the franchise’s second Super Bowl win, Eagles players and staff are set to parade the Vince Lombardi Trophy in front of their adoring fans on Friday.
More than a million supporters are expected to flood the streets and give the team a heroes’ welcome in Philly, where the parade is scheduled to begin at 11am before an official ceremony three hours later.
The Eagles plan to descend the Rocky steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at around 2pm for a 75-minute ceremony, city leaders said at a Tuesday press conference.
A replay of their win over the Chiefs will be shown on large screens nearby. The parade itself will start near the South Philadelphia stadium, proceed up Broad Street to City Hall and then west on to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the art museum.
Mayor Cherelle Parker, noting the harrowing plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia that killed seven people last month, said both the team and the city have proved resilient. The Eagles, she noted, started off the season 2-2.
‘Our Philadelphia Eagles, they were also gritty. They lifted up our spirits at a time when we really needed lifting,’ Parker said.
Organizers urged people who turn out Friday to celebrate safely, a year after gunfire marred the championship parade in Kansas City for the Chiefs.

Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said he was mostly pleased with the tone of celebrations in downtown Philadelphia after the game on Sunday.
Some schools in the region, including city public schools, will close on Friday. City courts will also be closed.
Eagles President Don Smolenski thanked the many diehard fans who ‘bleed green’ for the team. They often take over opponents’ stadiums and turn the contests into home crowd affairs, much as they did at the Superdome in New Orleans, he said.
‘We’ve gone from Brazil to Bourbon Street to Broad Street to the Ben Franklin Parkway,’ he said Tuesday. ‘It doesn´t get much better than this.’
