Billionaire and X platform chief Elon Musk has reiterated his $1 billion proposal to Wikipedia if it converts the name. His reply comes after an X user asks the tech billionaire ‘Does this offer stand @elonmusk?.”
The post shared the old post of Musk in which he has offered to give Wikipedia “a billion dollars if they change their name to D***ipedia”.
Elon Musk also ridiculed Wikipedia for requesting funding. “Wikipedia when I open a page on their website, it asks for financial assistance,” a Twitter user named Piet stated alongside a picture of a man wearing a “Wikipedia head.” Elon Musk replied to the message with the words “Every time” and a smiley face.

The CEO of Tesla sent out a “Wikipedia request” to his followers at the end of last year. “Stop donating to Wokepedia until they restore balance to their editing authority,” he wrote on Twitter in response to a post from the ‘Libs of TikTok’ account that featured a pie chart indicating that 29% of Wikipedia’s $177 million budget for 2023–2024 went toward “equity” and “safety & inclusion.”
