At least five people have been injured following a mass stabbing in Sydney’s south.
A major police operation is currently underway at Engadine.
A police officer and several bystanders have been left with stab wounds during the incident on Old Bush Road.
One person suffered cardiac arrest while a 40-year-old woman has been rushed to St George Hospital for multiple stab wounds.
The alleged knifeman is among those being treated by paramedics at the scene.
