Trenesha Biggers, a former TNA wrestling star who competed under the ring name ‘Rhaka Khan’, was arrested in New York City on Saturday morning.

According to TMZ, Biggers was escorted out of her former apartment building in Midtown Manhattan at around 11:30am.

Police handcuffed her and charged her with criminal trespassing.

Tenants told the outlet that Biggers, age 43, had previously been evicted from the building and that she stayed on the premises without permission.

The outlet also cites sources who say ‘this isn’t the first time she’s caused issues’ at the building.

She was booked at the 17th precinct in the afternoon. It’s unclear if she was released or in custody at the time of publishing. The NYPD did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Biggers, an Illinois native, played volleyball at Illinois Central College, the College of Southern Idaho, and Florida State University.

She entered the 2005 WWE Diva Search and wrestled under her first name, Trenesha.

After being released from the WWE in 2006, Biggers hit the independent circuit for two years before being signed to Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling in 2008.

She would wrestle with the company for nearly two years before being released in October of 2009.

Following her release, she competed in the first season of Lucha Libre USA. She would wrestle there until 2011. She retired afterwards.

This is not the first time that Biggers has had run-ins with the law.

Biggers was previously in a relationship with former WWE superstar Kurt Angle. She obtained a protection from abuse (PFA) order against him in August 2009 and had him removed from his own house. The PFA was later voluntarily withdrawn by her.

In August 2019, Biggers was placed on the most-wanted list in El Paso, Texas on a charge of interference with child custody. After the posting, a recording surfaced of her ex-husband (a former independent wrestler) admitting to making multiple false police reports and false reports to Child Protective Services against her.
