When in doubt, wear a saree, and Fatima Sana Shaikh seems to agree with this. The actress, on Sunday, stepped out wearing a white saree, radiating retro charm. The exquisite saree featured hand-embroidered bullion rose trellises in red and green colour on the pallu and the hemline all over, elevating the glam quotient. A true masterpiece, the saree was crafted from cotton-silk, providing a perfect base for the embroidery and patterns.
Showcasing her flair for fashion, Fatima Sana Shaikh styled it with a simple blouse. The sleeveless piece boasts a deep, sweetheart neckline, adding to the risque factor and giving off a classic 90s vibe.
Fatima’s look stole the spotlight for its accessories and makeup. To elevate the appearance, she went for minimal jewellery, including a pair of hoops with white detailing, a stack of silver coloured bangles which perfectly added to her feminine allure. Fatima added the perfect strokes of glam to her look. With a radiant base – a blend of skin-like foundation and illuminating drops, she highlighted her glam appeal. Further, she beautified her already striking features and went for defined brows, mascara-defined eyes, a touch of rose blush and contoured cheeks.
For a bold approach, she picked a red lipstick, which added a pop of colour to her overall look, finishing off the look with the right beauty notes. Moving on to hair styling, her tresses beautifully styled in a fishtail braid stole the maximum attention. Her hair, styled in waves, was adorned with fresh white flowers, making her look straight out of a dream – simply breathtaking. Isn’t she?
In her simple white saree, Fatima Sana Shaikh is just a class apart, and we are rooting for her.
Earlier, Fatima wore a black organza drape by Raw Mango. At the centre stage of this sartorial masterpiece was an all-over flora and fauna jaal, hand-embroidered in zardozi and aari in gold and silver. The golden border took the ethereal pick to a whole new level, compelling fashion enthusiasts to take notes from. Fatima went for a simple blouse to complete the look and styled it with a statement bun and minimal make-up. The diamond earring with multi-colour beads further sealed the look.
