Serie A giants Inter Milan were held to a stalemate in their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 opener against Mexican side Monterrey at the Rose Bowl Stadium in California, USA, on Wednesday.
Sergio Ramos opened the scoring for the Mexican outfit, before Lautaro Martinez levelled for the Italian unit in the 1-1 draw.
In the earlier fixtures of the day, Argentine side River Plate posted a 3-1 win over the Japanese outfit Urawa Red Diamonds as goals from Facundo Colidio, Sebastian Driussi, and Maximiliano Meza helped the Buenos Aires unit past Urawa, who got their consolation through a spot kick from Yusuke Matsuo.
South Africa side Mamelodi Sundowns FC edged out South Korean oiutfit Ulsan HD FC as Iqraam Rayners netted the lone strike of the game in the 36th minute.
