Malaika Arora often uses social media to share simple workout routines that her fans can perform in the comfort of their homes. As the new week rolls in, the actor shares another simple routine that anyone can perform without any equipment. This simple exercise engages all the muscles in the body and makes the body flexible.

Taking to her Instagram, Malaika Arora shared a video of her performing a simple yoga routine combined with stretches. She wrote, “Flexibility is the key to stability.” She starts the exercise by squatting on a yoga mat and holding her palms together. The first movement involves coming to your knees from the squat position and using your palms to touch your toes. This gently stretches the back muscles and the core.

The second movement involves coming back to the squat position to relax the muscles. Once that is done, you are supposed to stand up, bend down, and try to touch your toes with your hands. This stretches the back muscles and even the hamstrings. Finally, you come back to the squat position and relax.

This simple exercise requires no equipment at all and it is effective in reducing the stiffness in the body that comes from sitting for long hours on the desk. This can be incorporated either at the beginning of the workout as a warm-up routine. Additionally, it can also be performed at the end of the workout to relax the body. Doing a few reps of this exercise, along with some mindful breathing techniques, will not only engage all senses but also calm the body.

Previously, she showed her fans how to perform the Prithvi Namaskara which engages the abs and core.
