Foul-mouthed Hollywood actor’s anti-Trump rant at undecided voters backfires spectacularly

A Hollywood comedian swore at and scolded undecided voters to back Kamala – only for some to say they’re now voting Trump to spite him.

Billy Eicher, 47, posted a snarling video to his Instagram last week, telling his followers:  ‘We cannot let Donald Trump run this country’.

He raged: ‘People saying Donald and Kamala, I see young people saying “They’re the same. I hate him, but I don’t know if I can vote for her.”

‘What the f*** are you talking about? Please, get involved.’

But Eicher’s diatribe, filmed in a luxurious Manhattan room, appeared to have the opposite affect he intended

‘TRUMP IT IS!!! Thanks Billy,’ Samuel Sung wrote on TikTok.

A user called Fenue added: ‘I agree with Billy Trump 2024!!’

Writing on X, another poster said: ‘Just voted with this incredible momentum in California.’

In a video posted to his Instagram , Eichner urged his followers to vote for the Democrat saying ‘we cannot let Donald Trump run this country’

The four minute video saw Eichner say ‘It’s two weeks until the election, I am getting a lot of texts and a lot of people panicking. It is time to f****** panic.’

He continued: ‘The polls are not good. I am going to just be blunt, I don’t work for the Kamala campaign.

‘I am just going to call it like I see it, Trump has the momentum….’

In an attempt to get people out to vote, Eichner added: He’s a f****** nepo baby, incompetent motherf***** who is mentally disintegrating in front of our eyes, and his voters don’t seem to care,’ Eichner continued.

‘It’s going to be up to the rest of us f****** sane people to save this country, save this economy. Save our most vulnerable citizens. Women who don’t have access to abortions, LGBTQ folks.

‘Anyone with half a f****** brain… You can be annoyed at me, but that’s not the point. Everyone has to get in the game here.

‘We can’t let what happened with Hillary happen again…

‘He is a danger to the physical safety of American citizens everywhere. He is very, very dangerous and not in the cool f****** way some of his fanboys think he is, okay.’

Closing his video he urged people to get out and vote, convince their friends to do so and to get out and knock doors.

Trump supporter and Tesla CEO Elon Musk also took to X to mock Eicher and his ilk over the rant, saying: ‘And they don’t even realize how big the loss will be yet.’

J.L. Partners polled 1000 likely voters from Oct 26 to 29. The results have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 points, but put Donald Trump back in the lead after he fell behind

Another person added: ‘It is panic time indeed! For them. That said, we need to take nothing for granted.

‘You can never have enough votes. Especially against cheaters like the Democrats.’

Eichner has reason to be concerned, with DailyMail.com’s final poll before election day showing Trump has now overtaken Harris.

The former president now holds a three-point lead over the current Vice President, with Trump picking up support from independents and undecided voters.

New data, which has margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent, shows that Trump is trending up, with the support of 49 percent to Harris’ 46 percent.

With five days to go, the numbers mean Trump is currently on course to become the first Republican candidate since George W. Bush in 2004 to win the popular vote.

James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners said the poll was good news for Trump’s chances of winning the White House.

‘The movement under the surface suggests Trump is having a better closing moment in driving up enthusiasm than Harris is, and undecideds and third-party candidate supporters have also broken for Trump in the last month,’ he said.

Eichner sparked controversy in 2022 after blaming homophobia for the failure of his gay romcom Bros.

The movie was the first LGBT romcom to be produced by a major studio, but tanked at the box office despite good reviews.

A slew of angry tweets saw Eicher call out straight people for ‘failing to show up’ and suggested their distaste for homosexuality was to blame for the movie’s poor takings.
