Odegaard assured fans that the Gunners would go full throttle into the game in Paris in order to seal a place in the summit clash of the elite European continental competition.

Premier League side Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Emirates against French champions PSG in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal between the sides on Wednesday, as an Ousmane Dembele lone strike proved to be the difference between the sides ahead of the return leg in Paris in a week’s time.
Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard, who came under scrutiny for his lukewarm showing on the day, assured fans that the Gunners would go full throttle in the second iteration of the game in order to seal a place in the summit clash of the elite European continental competition.
“We’re going full gas,” the Norwegian asserted.
“We fully believe we’re going to turn it around,” the midfielder said.

PSG struck as early as the fourth minute of the game as Dembele’s left-footed effort found its way into the ne,t and the visitors managed to hold out for the win thanks to the solitary strike. Arsenal, who put the ball into the back of the net through a Mikel Merino header, had their joy cut short as the equaliser was ruled out for offside.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, too, remained confident of turning things around in Paris but conditioned that it would only be possible if the London side produced something special on the road.

“It’s half-time and we have a big chance to be in the final,” the 43-year-old said.
“You want to be in the Champions League final, then you need to do something special,” the Spaniard continued.
“Then we are going to need to do something special in Paris,” he added.
