YEIDA will offer over 3,000 affordable plots to EWS individuals near Noida Airport. Priced at Rs 7.5 lakh each, the plots will be in Sectors 18 and 20 of Jewar.
YEIDA’s target is to allot at least 8,000 plots under the upcoming scheme, giving security guards, factory workers, and domestic helpers working near the Noida airport an opportunity to own a home.
Jewar Real Estate: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to launch a new housing scheme to provide affordable plots to people from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The scheme targets those with an annual income of up to Rs 3 lakh, including factory workers and daily wage earners, helping them build their own homes.
This scheme will be launched after approval from the YEIDA Board on June 18. Under it, more than 3,000 plots will be made available in Sectors 18 and 20 of Jewar, located near the Noida International Airport. Each plot will be 30 square meters in size, allowing working-class individuals to build their dream homes.
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh has said the area is rapidly developing into a hub for industrial and other projects. Several domestic and international investors are setting up industries here. As the demand for housing grows among workers employed in these industries, this scheme aims to provide affordable plots for them.
Each 30-square-meter plot is priced at Rs 7.5 lakh. Selected applicants will be allowed to pay this amount in easy installments over seven years. Of the total plots, 29% will be reserved for those working on YEIDA area projects, 5% for retired defence personnel, and another 5% for YEIDA employees.

All plots will be allotted through a lucky draw. To be eligible for the draw, applicants must deposit 10% of the total cost in advance. Full details and dates of the scheme will be announced after the board meeting.
In April this year, the YEIDA launched a residential plot scheme for those who wish to purchase a plot for building a house near the Noida International airport. Under the scheme, Yeida has offered 276 plots of 200 square metres (sqms), and the allotment will be through lucky draw.
