Google Pixel 10 launch is on August 20 where we will see the company bring new AI features that should be available from day one.
Google will launch Pixel 10 with new AI features and this new ad shows where Apple is lacking
Google Pixel 10 launch is just a few weeks away and its customary iPhone mocking has started. Apple’s delayed AI features have been well documented, which the company had promised soon while launching the iPhone 16 series last year.
We’re still waiting for the big day when the advertised AI Siri and other tools are made available to the latest iPhones, and Google is making sure the iPhone maker does not forget its issues with the new features. The Pixel 10 will offer a wide array of Gemini AI features that iPhone users can only dream of right now and Google never leaves a chance to mock its rivals.
Apple AI Delay Mocked In Pixel 10 Teaser
The new Pixel 10 launch teaser takes a direct swipe at Apple and its supposedly ‘coming soon’ features. The new ad posted on X says, “If you buy a new phone, because of a feature that’s coming soon. But it has been coming soon for a full year, you could change your definition of soon, or you could just change your phone.”
Google even mentions that would people rather keep waiting for these features, that has changed the meaning of coming soon, or should you they just change their phone, which is where the new Pixel 10 lineup comes into play.
Apple has been guilty of marketing and advertising its AI features well before they were ready to be rolled out. A lot of those who bought the iPhone 16 in the last 10 months did so because of Apple’s promise to bring the Apple AI features soon.
Fast-forward to 2025, and we’re yet to see them fully roll out. In fact, the WWDC 2025 did not even have any section for Apple AI features, which tells you the issues plaguing the company.
Siri in the AI avatar shows it can summarise emails, develop a photo memory of the people you meet and more. Apple showed the personalised Siri in a three-series ad campaign which now has been made private on its YouTube channel. Apple took down the ads that deceived people into buying the new iPhones who thought the Siri features were already available publicly.
Google Pixel 10 is launching on August 20 and 21 in the US and Indian market, respectively and we could see more AI features coming to these devices, where the use of the word soon should be negligible.
