Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill, who has led the Ahmedabad-based unit to yet another playoff appearance, stands third in the list of batters with the most number of runs in the IPL Playoffs.
Gill, who has been part of 10 playoff meetings with GT and his former side, Kolkata Knight Riders, boasts a tally of 474 runs in the final phase of the money-rich tournament.
Chennai Super Kings legends Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni occupy the top two spots in the list with 714 and 523 runs respectively.
Raina, who has represented CSK and Gujarat Lions, has enjoyed 24 playoff outings, batting at an average strike rate of 155.21, while Dhoni, who has been part of CSK and the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant, has featured in 28 playoff fixtures, walking out to bat 23 times in the process.
South African icon Faf du Plessis stands fourth in the list with 390 runs in 15 playoff games, followed by former Australian maverick Shane Watson, who has 1 un short of Plessis in 12 playoff outings.
Gill is slated to lead GT into battle against the joint-most successful side in the history of the IPL, Mumbai Indinas, in the eliminator fixture on Friday at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Punjab.
Gill, the newly-appointed Indian Test team captain, requires a half-century to go past the Dhoni on the list and will look to do so against MI.
