In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 18, a task performed by Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra agitated Gunaratna Sadavarte. It made him declare that he would go on a hunger strike.

The game inside Bigg Boss 18 house is getting tougher with each passing day. The contestants recently faced their first nomination task, and viewers have been eagerly waiting to see who would be the first contestant to be evicted. However, in the recent episode, a task performed by Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra agitated Gunaratna Sadavarte. It made him declare that he would go on a hunger strike as well.

In the latest episode, Gunaratna Sadavarte and Chaahat Pandey were seen pleading with Bigg Boss to end the jail sentences of Hema Sharma and Tajinder Singh Bagga. The duo have been in jail since the start of the week. After repeated requests, Bigg Boss summoned all of the housemates and informed them that the jail cannot be left empty. As a result, they asked contestants to choose two others who they believed should be in jail instead of Hema and Tajinder. Chaahat Pandey voluntarily agreed to enter the jail.

Moreover, many housemates raised their hands in support of Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma release. But, Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra refused, stating that they had volunteered to go to jail initially. Bigg Boss then praised the three for sticking to their decision and granted them the exclusive right to select one contender who they believed should accompany Chahat Pandey inside the jail. They chose Gunaratna Sadavarte for the task.

This decision made Gunaratna lose his temper and openly defy. He refused to go inside the jail. Despite his co-contestants’ assurances that it was not a punishment, Gunaratna stood by his stand and exclaimed, “Main abhi quit kar dunga, par jail main nahin jaaunga (I will quit but I won’t go to jail).” The situation escalated further when he declared that he would go on a hunger strike. He stated, “Maine ann aur paani tyaag diya hai aur ye national television par jayega (i have quit food and water and it will come on National television).”

Eventually, Bigg Boss announced that Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma would remain in jail. Hema became tearful as she felt disappointed for agreeing to the jail term in the first place. Meanwhile, Gunaratna is also one among the nominated contestants for eviction this week.
