As per the Drik Panchang, Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born on Paush Shukla Saptami in Patna Sahib. Going by this, Saptami tithi begins on January 5, 2025, at 8:15 PM and will end on January 6, 2025, at 6:23 PM.

- Guru Gobind Singh, who was born in Patna, Bihar, is remembered for his major contributions toward Sikhism and in shaping the Sikh community. His teachings still continue to inspire millions worldwide.
- It is believed that Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, the 9th Sikh guru was killed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb after he refused to convert to Islam.
- After his father’s demise, Guru Gobind Singh was declared the tenth and final guru of the Sikhs at the age of 9.
- Throughout his life, Guru Gobing dedicated his whole time to the Sikh community, exuding immense bravery.
- At the age of 41 in 1780, he passed away. Guru Gobind Singh died after being wounded in a battle with the Mughal forces.
