Chhath Puja, one of Hinduism’s most important festivals, is celebrated across states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. Observed six days after Diwali, the festival is dedicated to the worship of Surya Dev (the Sun God), Shashthi Mata, also known as Chhathi Maiya, Usha (the God of Dawn), and Pratyusha (the Goddess of Dusk).
According to Drik Panchang, Chhath Puja falls on the Shashti Tithi of Kartik Shukla Paksha. This year, Shashti Tithi begins at 12:41 am on November 7 and concludes at 12:34 am on November 8.

Chhath Puja Celebrations
Chhath Puja is known by various names across different regions, including Surya Shashti, Chhath, Chhathi, Chhath Parv, Dala Puja, Pratihar, Dala Chhath and Chhath Puja.
