Kashvee Gautam, who looks up to Hardik Pandya, is an all-rounder for the Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League.

Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya on Saturday kept his promise and gifted Indian women’s cricketer Kashvee Gautam a customised bat, as he had told her during a Women’s Premier League last month, leaving the youngster gushing.

Kashvee, who had asked Pandya for a bat during the WPL, was very happy to get the gift from the all-rounder.

After a brilliant season with the franchise, Kashvee got her first call-up to the Indian side ahead of the Women’s ODI World Cup, all set to be held in India later this year.

Pandya was on the sidelines during one of Gujarat’s games in the Women’s Premier League, where he met Kashvee.

Pandya, awed after hearing that Kashvee has ‘HP33’ engraved on her bat, promised her that he would shred down one of his bats to 1100g and gift it to her.

Kashvee finished as Gujarat’s leading wicket-taker, bagging 11 wickets in nine games at an impressive economy of 6.45.

Due to her brilliant performances, Kashvee was named in the Indian women’s side’s 15-member team for their upcoming tri-series against Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Pandya, meanwhile, is leading the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025 and is currently in Delhi, where he met Kashvee at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Mumbai, five-time champions of the IPL, are lying on a lowly ninth in the points table, with just two points from five games and a net run rate of -0.01.

Since thrashing defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets, Mumbai have endured two losses, both by 12 runs.

Pandya was the star player for Mumbai in both games with bat and ball but insufficient support from the other end meant that he had to carry the most of the burden and ultimately failed.
