Conservative US influencer Ashley St Clair sent shockwaves by publicly claiming that Tesla and X owner Elon Musk was the father of her five-month-old child. The claims sent social media buzzing with speculation as the world’s richest man is already the father of 12 children from different relationships.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St Clair wrote in a bombshell X post.
However, the billionaire has yet to acknowledge the child in public and did not respond to St Clair’s announcement. However, he reacted to a five-year-old post from the influencer, hinting that he was “ensnared” by her.
Did Musk Get ‘Ensnared’ By St Clair?
An X user dug up St Clair’s post on X (then Twitter) where she was seen writing that she needed Musk’s attention for a marriage proposal. Greg Price, the person she was seen interacting with, said Musk already has a kid and her plan seemed “unlikely to work out.”
In response, St Clair said, “Well he actually has 7 kids & goes through women pretty fast”. The X user, named Milo, said, “Ashley St Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk.”
In response to the tweet, Musk simply wrote, “Whoa”.
Meanwhile, in a now-deleted response to Musk’s reaction, St Clair wrote, “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old.”
Musk’s reaction has sparked a range of questions, with some people claiming it to be an intentional effort to plot and lure the world’s richest man into a trap, while others requested people to give privacy to St Clair.
Ashley St Clair Takes Break From X
Meanwhile, the conservative influencer said she will take a break from X, thanking her supporters and wishing that she did not feel the need to make a statement. “Kids should be off limits for journalists. Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while,” she said.
In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalistsWill be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.

In an interview with the New York Post, St Clair said Musk provided with a lavish apartment in the Financial District and a hefty security detail, but no romance. She said she was forced to spend her pregnancy alone and asked not to tell anybody about her pregnancy.
Texts exchanged between St. Clair and Jared Birchall, Musk’s money manager, appear to show that she complied with the billionaire’s wish to be left off the birth certificate to preserve privacy, security and confidentiality.
St Clair said she was willing to stay silent because it would also protect her newborn’s privacy – until a tabloid, which she declined to name, started snooping around. “I am sad that my hand was forced by the media to do this now. But there is also a sense of relief because I have been forced to live in secrecy for almost a year of my life,” she said.
Musk already had 12 children, starting with his first son Nevada Alexandar with Canadian author Justine Wilson to his another son X Æ A-12 with musician Grimes.
