FIR, one of the most loved Indian Television shows, still holds a special place in fans’ hearts. The cop-based comedy series, which premiered from July 2006 to January 2015, featured Kavita Kaushik, Kiku Sharda, Gopi Bhalla, Aamir Ali and Sandeep Anand in the lead roles. Each one received immense love from the audience for their portrayal. Recently, the cast of FIR reunited to relive the old memories and pictures of their reunion are surfacing on social media.
A while ago, Kavita delighted her Instafam with adorable pictures from the FIR reunion, leaving the fans beamed with joy to see their favourite cast together after such a long time. “Hayye Daiyya kahan jaau mai F.i.R likhaaun,” the post caption reads.
In the first snapshot, Kavita was posing with her co-actors Gopi Bhalla, Aamir Ali and Sandeep Bhalla, who played Gopinath Gandotra, Bajrang Pandey and Billu in the popular show. All of them were in their casual outfits.
She also shared a selfie with actress Sapna Sikarwar, who also played a significant role in FIR. One of the pictures features the entire group posing for a happy selfie together.
Kiku Sharda, who played Constable Gulguley in the show, gave this reunion as a miss. “Gulguley, Shashank and some important members were missed,” the post caption reads.
As soon as the pictures were shared online, they captured the viewer’s attention prompting many to share their heartfelt reactions. Kiku Shara commented, “Missed this reunion. Love you guys.”
An Instagram user wrote, “Fond memories for a lifetime! Love to all of you.” Another user wrote, “All fav in one frame.” One of them commented, “I’ll never be bored of this show.” A person wrote, “I will watch this show till my last breath, I promise.”
The sitcom had a glorious run on Sab TV. Even after nine years of the show’s last episode, it remains a fan favourite with viewers often revisiting the old episodes on YouTube. Earlier, there were several speculations regarding the show’s return but an official confirmation regarding the same from the makers is still awaited.
