Helen Flanagan has opened up on co-parenting with her ex Scott Sinclair, as she admitted her daughter ‘always talks about how she misses her daddy’.
The former Coronation Street actress, 34, and the footballer, 36, separated in 2022 after 13 years together. The pair share three children, Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, four.
Posting to her 1.1 million followers on Friday evening, Helen explained that Scott would be having the children during half term, which will give her a rare ‘break’.
She explained: ‘I get a break so the children go to Scott’s for half term and I literally can’t remember the last time I had a break.
‘I think it was last half term so I’m really ready for it, like really ready. I won’t have too long, probably about six days and then they’ll come back and that will be great.’
Helen went on to reveal that their oldest child Matilda wants to spend the entire Easter break with her dad, which will be ‘nice for her’.

She said:’But Matilda did say to me and she’s old enough now, she said “Mummy I want to spend the whole Easter with daddy”.
‘So I think that’s nice because she always talks about how much she misses her daddy and stuff.
‘The other two are two young like Charlie is far too young and Delilah. Yeah, I will miss Matilda but I think it’s nice for her to have that time with her dad.’
It comes just after Helen revealed that her friends tried to put her on a ‘man ban’ after she split from her ex Scott.
The blonde beauty is now dating construction worker Robbie Talbot, 45, who is the ‘secret’ boyfriend she while on Celebs Go Dating.
Looking back at the time of her split from Scott, Helen told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine: ‘A lot of my friends were trying to put me on a man ban, which obviously didn’t work!
‘I was hurting from the break up and I’ve always just wanted to be loved so I started dating.’
Lifting the lid on her blossoming relationship with Robbie, the soap star gushed: ‘He’s a kind, genuine person, he makes me laugh and he’s brilliant with my kids.’
The parenting admission also comes just after Helen put on a united front with Scott to celebrate their son Charlie’s third birthday last month.

The former couple looked in very high spirits as they spent quality time celebrating Charlie’s 4th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Helen dressed herself and children in matching red and blue outfits.
Coronation Street alum Helen wore a stylish red strapless dress with floral detail for the huge family celebration.
In her snap, she is seen carrying the toddler and posing in front of a Tube sign with his name.
Charlie looked delighted and threw his hands in the air as he was surrounded by red balloons and a Paddington Bear figure with his face on.
In her Instagram caption, Helen posted a series of snaps and the words: “Best day for celebrating Charlies 4th Birthday.’
Scott then uploaded a video of Paddington’s visit to his Stories.
Helen previously admitted that the former couple ‘don’t like each other at all’ despite them ‘caring deeply’ for each other.
Speaking to Charlotte Dawson on her Naughty Corner podcast, Helen said: ‘I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don’t like each other.

Helen recently put on a united front with her ex-partner Scott to celebrate their son Charlie’s fourth birthday last month
‘We don’t like each other at all, we don’t get on. I do know that Scott – he’d never admit it – cares about me too and he does love me.
‘But I’m so done, I could never have another relationship again where we would always be bickering. I haven’t got another argument in me.
‘As women we try and do anything we can to make it work with the father of your children and I did. But I think for me if I was in a relationship with someone else it would have to be easy because I haven’t got the energy in me again, I’ve done all that with the father of my kids.’
Helen went onto say co-parenting is ‘hilarious’ as she revealed the pair try and avoid each other so they don’t ‘argue’ in front of their kids.
She continued: ‘I’ve been a single mum for two years now. Co-parenting is hilarious, we were together for 13 years.
‘The last time I saw him, I thought it was quite funny, I was taking the p*** out of him because he had a bucket hat on. I think he was trying not to laugh.
‘He lives in Bath and I live in North Manchester so its about five hours and we meet in Birmingham to exchange things and the kids.
‘He’s throwing things in my boot and I just started taking the mickey out of his bucket hat to lighten the mood.

‘We just try and not be in the same house together because the children are the priority and I want a good environment for them and I don’t want them to see us arguing.’
Elsewhere in the chat, Helen admitted she was previously on celebrity dating app Raya.
She said: ‘Being single is, wow. There are some awful men out there.
‘I did have Raya on my phone and Matilda would sit on my phone and she would go through the guys on the dating app and would laugh at them. She would go to school and be like, “my mum has a boys app”.
‘I don’t have the app anymore, I did go on a few dates from there but I kind of felt a bit…but it was hilarious at the beginning.
