Lebanon’s Hezbollah said it targeted an Israeli military barracks in central Israel on October 14. Hezbollah fighters launched “a salvo of rockets” at the barracks “east of Netanya”, a statement from the Iran-backed group said. Earlier in the day, Hezbollah said its fighters launched “a rocket salvo” at the “Stella Maris” naval base near Haifa, the Lebanese group said. Gallant spoke to Austin overnight and “highlighted the severity of the attack and the forceful response that would be taken against Hezbollah”. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Tehran will make use of all its capacities to hold Israel to account for the assassination of its top military general.
