Hezbollah Rocket-Drone Attack As Israel Military Briefs US CENTCOM on Operational Plans for Lebanon

On September 9, Hezbollah launched drones at Israel’s Nahariya, hitting an apartment building’s 14th floor, but causing no injuries. Hezbollah claimed this attack targeted an IDF base, in response to recent Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. The group also fired around 15 rockets at Western Galilee and Kfar Giladi, with minor injuries reported. Additionally, Hezbollah said it targeted an Israeli fighter jet with a surface-to-air missile, leading to retaliatory IDF strikes on Hezbollah positions. US CENTCOM Chief Gen. Michael Kurilla visited Israel to review IDF’s Lebanon operation plans.
