Houston Texans head to Kansas City this weekend with concerns over star running back Joe Mixon, after he was listed as questionable for the game on Thursday.
The Texans will walk into the lion’s den on Saturday as they bid to end the Chiefs’ hopes of an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat at Arrowhead Stadium.
But Mixon did not practice with his team Thursday due to an ankle issue, with the team listing him as questionable for the game.
Azeez Al-Shaair is also questionable and was limited in practice with a knee problem.Â
The Texans are also without key wide receiver Tank Dell, who sustained such a bad knee injury in the regular season game at Arrowhead in December he is set to miss all of 2025.Â
Dell underwent the first of what is expected to be multiple surgeries to repair his knee earlier this week in what is going to be a lengthy comeback trail.

Meanwhile the Chiefs are pretty much in full health after a bye week from securing the AFC’s No. 1 seed.
Jaylen Watson was listed as questionable on Thursday with an ankle issue and Mecole Hardman is also doubtful with a knee injury.
But otherwise, the Chiefs seem to be trending in the right direction as they step up their bid for a third straight Super Bowl title.
The winner of Texans vs Chiefs will meet whoever emerges victorious from the standout game of the weekend between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills for a place in the Super Bowl.Â
In the NFC, the Washington Commanders travel to Detroit to play against the Lions.
Elsewhere, the Philadelphia Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams in a game that could be impacted by snow.Â
