Houston woman strolls down her street hand-in-hand with mystery man in haunting footage just hours before she was shot dead inside

Hours before a young mother was found shot dead in her apartment, she was strolling down the street with a mystery man after a night out.

Haunting CCTV footage caught Kenia Rosibel Guardado Molina, 28, steps from her building in southwest Houston at 2.47am on Monday.

The single mother-of-two was wearing pretty black mini-dress and happily walking hand-in-hand with the man in a shirt and jeans, stumbling a little in her high heels.

Molina dropped her three-year-old son off with a babysitter that night, and her family became worried when she didn’t pick him up in the morning.

The last time any of them saw her online was about 4am, just over an hour since she was caught on camera on Forum Park Drive.

Her grandparents finally went to check on her on Tuesday morning and found her with a gunshot wound to the head about 8.55am.

Houston Police released the CCTV footage as they search for the Hispanic man, who is so far only considered a person of interest, not a suspect.

Detectives believe he may be the last person to have seen Molina alive.

Molina’s sister Yolanda Isabel Guardado, who lives in Charlotte but is in Panama at the moment, is trying to raise $10,000 to bring her body home to Honduras.

‘Kenia was a single mother with the hopes of helping her sister and parents back home in Honduras. Her mother has asked us to send her body back to Honduras to be buried,’ she said.

Guardado said her sister had no close family nearby, and also had a 10-year-old daughter.

Police asked the man, anyone who recognized him, or anyone else with information, to contact them.
