Shri Yantra represents balance across nine crucial aspects of life, such as wealth, health, peace, and happiness.
It is highly recommended to install the item in the early morning hours.
The Shri Yantra, also known as the “King of Chakras,” is revered in Hindu spiritual traditions for its ability to bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and positive energy. Often associated with Goddess Lakshmi, it holds a significant role in various spiritual practices, including astrology, tantric rituals, and Vastu Shastra. The Yantra is formed by nine interlocking triangles converging at the centre, symbolising universal energy and divine feminine power.
According to astrologer Shakuntala Belwal of Shiv Shakti Jyotish and Vastu Center in Rishikesh, Shri Yantra represents balance across nine crucial aspects of life, such as wealth, health, peace, and happiness. When used in worship, it encourages focus and is seen as a source of positive energy, believed to alleviate financial challenges while promoting mental peace and stability.
To achieve optimal benefits, installing Shri Yantra on a favourable day—such as a Friday, full moon, or Diwali—is advised. The installation ritual is as follows:
- Cleanse the Yantra: Bathe the Shri Yantra with Gangajal or pure water.
- Prepare the Worship Area: Spread a clean red cloth and position the Yantra on it.
- Arrange Offerings: Place sandalwood, flowers, rice, and incense around it.
- Meditate and Decorate: Meditate on Goddess Lakshmi, and apply kumkum and rice to the Yantra.
- Light a Lamp: Use cow ghee to light a lamp and conduct the aarti.
It is highly recommended to install the item in the early morning hours, ideally between 4 and 6 a.m., as this time is considered especially auspicious for spiritual or ritual practices. Among these times, 5:40 a.m. holds particular significance, symbolizing an alignment with positive energies. Installing at this hour is thought to enhance the item’s spiritual potency and encourage blessings for the household or establishment.
To maintain and amplify these benefits, regular worship in a dedicated sacred area, such as a prayer room or altar, is advised. Prayers or meditative practices performed here will foster a continuous flow of positive energy.
