Designer Zoe Kestan met Hunter Biden at a strip club in Manhattan where she worked as a dancer and began a drug-fuelled relationship that ended after 11 months.
31-year-old Zoe Kestan who worked as a stripper at Vivid Cabaret in New York in 2017 and met US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and began a 11-month-long relationship marked by drugs and sex came forward to tell her story days after Hunter, who was facing sentencing for two criminal cases, was granted presidential pardon by his father.
Kestan in a detailed interview to the New York Times revealed the circumstances of their meeting and how she saw addiction to crack and cocaine guided Hunter Biden’s life.
Kestan later became part of national headlines when intimate photos of her were discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Earlier this year, Kestan testified in a federal court alongside other ex-lovers in Hunter’s tax evasion case.
Zoe Kestan met Hunter Biden seven years ago at a Manhattan strip club where she worked. At the time, Kestan was a 24-year-old fashion designer and social media personality, unaware of Hunter’s identity. Hunter, then 47, had booked a private room at the club.
Kestan, also a lingerie designer (who founded the brand WeedSlut in 2017), revealed that she met Biden when she had lost her as a colour mixer for American contemporary art icon Jeff Koons. She was working as a designer for the ad agency Wieden+Kennedy with less pay and chose to increase her income by coming in as a dancer at Vivid Cabaret.
Zoe Kestan met Hunter Biden in 2017 there and gave him a private dance. They met again at a party at a downtown hotel a few days later where Hunter showed interest in Kestan’s work and spoke about his family and his struggles with addiction to alcohol and crack cocaine.
Their meetings became frequent and they started staying at luxury hotels in New York and Los Angeles for romantic getaways.
At one point, Hunter Biden and Zoe Kestan discussed sending him to rehab. However, they didn’t follow through, as Hunter changed his plans and took her to a rented bungalow at the Chateau Marmont.
By the end of their stay, Kestan saw how addiction controlled Hunter’s life. Her mother and close friend also noticed the warning signs. Despite growing concerns, Kestan remained in love. The situation worsened when Hunter disappeared and started lying.
Kestan visited Mr. Biden in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where he was supposed to be undergoing ketamine therapy for his addiction. However, she claimed the therapy wasn’t working as Biden expressed a desire to find powder cocaine to make crack.
She also said that he began sending her to ATMs to withdraw money “to pay (drug) dealers”.
“He would set up a laptop and a crack pipe on a chair and stay up all night making phone calls. If no one answered, he would find cam girls on the internet to keep him company. (He) mused about posting explicit videos of himself to Pornhub,” Kestan was quoted as saying by the New York Times.
After a series of heated text arguments, their communication ceased. Hunter, in one of his texts, said: “I wronged you. I intentionally hurt you. I am a bad man. You need to be away from me forever”.
Kestan revealed that in 2019 Hunter decided to end the relationship in a four-sentence email.
“Hi Zoe. I got married to the love of my life, and I’m happier than I have ever been. I have begun a new life with my beautiful wife (Melissa Cohen Biden) and ask you to please honour my privacy. Wish you well,” the email read.
“I don’t have regrets about anything I did online or with Hunter,” Kestan told the news outlet, adding she does not want to live that way.
