IDF Rushes More Troops to Lebanon, Hezbollah Says Its ‘Capabilities Fine, No Commander Post Vacant’

The Israeli military said on October 8 that it had launched targeted raids against Hezbollah in southwest Lebanon expanding its ground operations along the country’s coastline. The expansion came after deployed a fourth division to southern Lebanon on October 7 for ground operations against Hezbollah. Israel’s 146th Division began “limited, localised, targeted operational activities” against Hezbollah targets in southwestern Lebanon, the army said on Telegram.
