Hina Khan has been courageously battling stage three cancer since June last year. Despite facing immense health challenges, the actress shows no signs of slowing down or taking a break from her professional front. Recently, Hina was spotted in Mumbai as she stepped out for the promotions of Griha Laxmi, which is scheduled to premiere on January 16.
In a paparazzo video shared on Instagram, Hina was spotted dressed in a stylish outfit. She could be seen patiently posing for the paparazzi and even interacting with them. Hina thanked the photographers with folded hands before she left the place.
For the day, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress wore a hot pink satin suit set, comprising a coat with an overlapping knot detailing and flowy pants. She opted for delicate pieces of jewellery, comprising necklaces and earrings, and wore matching heels to add an oomph factor to her chic look.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old actress recently appeared on Sony TV’s dance reality show India’s Best Dancer vs Super Dancer as a guest judge. In the show, Hina recalled the night she got to know about her cancer diagnosis and shared what helped her stay positive ever since then.
In a clip shared by the official Instagram handle of the channel, judge Geeta Kapur praised the YRKKH actress, saying that her journey has been nothing but “inspirational.” She further asked Hina how she managed to face the disease bravely. In response, the 37-year-old actress recalled that her partner Rocky Jaiswal came home the night she got to know about her diagnosis. Before he entered the house, Hina told her brother that she was craving some sweet dish. And as there was dessert in her home, it made her believe that she needed to give a tough fight to the disease. Hence, she took her entire journey positively.
On June 28, 2024, Hina took to her Instagram account to share that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer after rumours surfaced about her diagnosis in the media. In her post, she mentioned that her treatment had begun, and she was “fully committed to overcoming the disease.” Further, Hina asked her fans and well-wishers to send their prayers for her during this challenging time.
Ever since her diagnosis, Hina has bravely battled the disease and shared every stage of the treatment and the difficulties with her fans on social media to normalise the journey.
