I’m A Celebrity star Coleen’s Rooney’s stint in the jungle is taking its toll on the family her parents have revealed.
The WAG’s mother, Colette McLoughlin, 62, revealed that her grandsons have been struggling without their mother there and even said that one of Coleen’s son’s has been very downhearted.
Colette’s admission comes as she touched down in Brisbane, Australia with Coleen’s two youngest sons Kit, eight, and Cass, six.
Colette told The Sun: ‘One of them’s been really quiet and subdued. They’ve been really good, to tell you the truth. I think it’s because they’ve been able to see her (on TV).
‘If they hadn’t been able to see her, it would’ve been different. Not much longer now.’
Despite the difficult separation the star’s parents have said they are ‘very excited’ to see their daughter in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Colette has been holding down the fort at the Rooney household and has been abiding by her daughter’s strict rules.
She told the publication that she had been following instructions left for her on a whiteboard with diagrams resembling Wayne’s football tactics.
She said: ‘Oh, the whiteboard. I followed the whiteboard, all right.’
And she added: ‘I’m glad to see the back of the whiteboard!’
Her mother Colette said: ‘We are very proud of her. She is doing very well. We are all very excited to see her.’
Asked if she might win the jungle crown, smiling Colette, 61, who was dressed in a jungle-esque khaki two piece outfit, said: ‘She’s got a chance’.
Her father Tony added: ‘She’s doing pretty well, we are all very proud of how she’s doing.
‘She’s doing alright and is coming across really well. You never know she might win.

‘We’ve got a long flight now to see her.’
And while Coleen’s husband Wayne Rooney is staying home thanks to his job as a manager at Plymouth Argyle, the boys made sure they took a reminder of their fatherwith them.
Coleen’s youngest son Cass was carrying a cuddly kangaroo through the airport as well as a figure of Wayne in a football kit as he arrived at check-in.

The WAG revealed that they chose not to jet out to Australia, telling The Mail on Sunday: ‘My two youngest ones are coming over. They all had the option but the two older ones decided that they would stay at home to continue with school and football.’
