United Woes
Lineker had opined that ‘Marcus isn’t the problem, United are,’ for the rocky situation between the club and the player.
Rashford slid down the pecking order at United since December 2024 and went on loan to fellow PL side Aston Villa for the latter half of the bygone season. The Englishman managed to find the net 4 times in 17 outings for the Villans.
Rashford was among the group of players left out of the United squad for the pre-season and the forward was instructed to find pastures anew.
