Indian all-rounder Musheer Khan produces an incredible showing for Mumbai’s development side against Nottinghamshire’s second XI in the MCA’s Emerging Players tour of the UK.
Musheer, younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, made a brilliant 123 off 149 deliveries to help Mumbai to a total of 448 runs, before claiming a six-wicket haul with his crafty left-arm spin.
Shaariq Sheikh dismissed the young Indian following his century, while the Indian side also had a ton coming from Manan Bhatt. Musheer’s efforts with the ball bundled out the home side for a first innings score of 210 before being asked to follow on by the touring side. Nottingham concluded Day 2 of the game at 90/3 in the second innings, leaving the side with a mountain to climb.
